HOW TO START UP WITH BENCHMARKING - UBP 2020  ALBANIA & KOSOVO HUB

SHUKOS & SHUKALB developed successfully on 20 March 2020 the webinar on "HOW TO START UP WITH BENCHMARKING - UBP HUB ALBANIA & KOSOVO" through the WEBEX platform offered by IAWD and the World Bank. The webinar was attended by over 25 participants, representatives of Water Supply and Sewerage Companies from Kosovo and Albania, representatives from the two associations (SHUKOS & SHUKALB), representatives from IAWD and representatives from Danube HUBi. The meeting was moderated by the HUB Coordinator for Kosovo and Albania, Mrs. Nadire Vitija in cooperation with the Sub-Coordinator Mr. Avni Dervishi.

ADKOM delivers tailored Commercial Efficiency program to three SECO supported utilities

So far D-LeaP programs have been rolled out by national water associations in various Danube countries as a combination of classroom and field activities in a rather standardized format following program curricula. Earlier in the current year, however, a more customized project that involves knowledge and trainers generated within D-LeaP commenced in North Macedonia.

AQUASAN finalized the third cycle of the NRW program in BiH

On 7 February 2020, Aquasan Network in BiH organised the final workshop within the D-LeaP Non-Revenue Water Program and thus completed the delivery of the third training cycle of this program. The workshop took place in Banja Luka with the participation of 23 representatives from Water Utilities from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The International Seminar of the V Cycle of Utility Benchmarking Program in Ukraine, which is the final event of the ukrainian UBP Hub, was held on 4-6 December 2019.

Second Workshop under the third cycle of NRW program successfully delivered

Aquasan Network in BiH has delivered the two-day workshop under the D-LeaP Non-Revenue Water Program on 27 to 28 November 2019 in Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). It was the second workshop of the third cycle of delivery of this Program for 14 water utilities from BiH that expressed the interest for participating in the Program.

The Danube Learning Partnership unites the national water utility associations of the Danube region to offer a comprehensive set of capacity building programs to participating utilities to enable sustainable water and wastewater services for all.

Learning by doing in the D-LeaP will strengthen and improve water utilities through the Danube region.
