27 November 2019 - 28 November 2019 // Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Aquasan Network in BiH has delivered the two-day workshop under the D-LeaP Non-Revenue Water Program on 27 to 28 November 2019 in Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). It was the second workshop of the third cycle of delivery of this Program for 14 water utilities from BiH that expressed the interest for participating in the Program.
During the first in-classroom workshop day, the participants analysed together with trainers their homework from the first workshop i.e. water balance and interpretation of its results. The participants also learnt how to develop a NRW action plan and how to conduct a “step-by-step” testing. Type and mode of operation of equipment for flow and pressure measurement and equipment for leak detection was also demonstrated.
The second workshop day was conceptualised as on-the job-training. The participants went to the field to gain hands-on knowledge on how to work with flow and pressure measurement equipment and leak detection equipment. The practical training was implemented on the water supply network managed by the Water Utility “Vodovod” Bihać, which is herewith greatly acknowledged for supporting the delivery of the practical part of the workshop.
