In the period from 30th – 31st October 2017 the first workshop for capacity building for non-revenue water management was held in Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina. General objective of the program is to build capacities of PUCs for efficient non-revenue water management in order to improve the performance of PUCs and sustainability of water services.
The workshop was organized by the Association for water and environmental protection sector „Aquasan Network in B&H“ which established the thematic centre for D-Leap Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina after conducting the series of activities and fulfilling of the criteria. The training was delivered by certified trainers of Aquasan network in B&H who have years of experience in the sector for non-revenue water management, respectively the loss reduction in the water supply systems in the area of Southeast Europe. A total of 23 representatives of PUCs from Banja Luka, Banovici, Bihac, Cazin, Gradiska, Istocno Sarajevo, Neum, Novi Travnik, Prijedor, Sanski Most and Trebinje participated in the workshop.
